Tony Young, Owner and Captain
Tony Young is not just the owner but also the hands-on operator of Forever Young Charter Company. He's a marine conservation enthusiast, certified technical diver, licensed captain, and an experienced spearfishing guide. Armed with a degree in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Minnesota, focusing on coral reef ecology, he ensures our charters promote sustainable spearfishing practices.
Tony's journey in marine preservation has led him to the Georgia Aquarium and the Coral Restoration Foundation, besides numerous other dive companies throughout the United States.
Allysa Lund, First Mate
Meet Allysa Lund, an integral part of our crew, who's just as passionate about marine life as she is about molding young minds. Allysa, originally from Minnesota, found her calling in the tranquil waters of the Florida Keys.
She works at the Key Largo school as an elementary/middle school teacher, specifically aiding children with special needs. Her passion for the marine environment is contagious and she brings her love for marine conservation on every charter trip we embark on.
David Wilkerson, Captain
David is a born and raised Georgia boy, spending his childhood in the woods hunting and on the
water fishing. His passion for the ocean brought him to the Florida Keys well over a decade ago.
David is a decorated captain, running some of the largest Yachts and sportfish boats around the
Bahamas and South Florida. He holds multiple dive certifications, including his instructor rating
and technical diving certifications. When it comes to fishing, David is the go to captain for
anything offshore or in the shallow waters of the Florida Keys backcountry. David's knowledge,
experience, and southern hospitality will make you feel at home when he is behind the helm!
Jeff Tharp, Captain
Captain Jeff Tharp graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Human Ecology. His degree focused on adventure education which lead Jeff to teach a variety of outdoor skills from backpacking, rock climbing, downhill skiing and snowboarding. His passion for teaching continued as he achieved the PADI Master Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer dive ratings. Jeff is also a licensed USCG master captain.
Mike O'Dwyer, Captain
Mike was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida where his passion for the ocean and diving began. This passion led Mike to complete a degree in Marine Environment at The College of the Florida Keys. Upon graduation; Mike expanded his knowledge by becoming a PADI dive instructor, SSI dive instructor, Emergency First Response instructor, and a USCG 100 ton licensed captain. Mike has now lived in Key West and worked as a professional guide and captain for over 12 years. He enjoys nothing more than spearfishing, guiding divers underwater, and sharing his love for the ocean with others! Luke Rankin, Spearfishing Guide
Luke Rankin, our spearfishing guide, grew up in Delaware, where his love for water led him to a career in diving and a life in the stunning Florida Keys. As a licensed USCG master captain, PADI Dive Instructor, and Emergency First Response Instructor, Luke's knowledge and dedication enhance our charter trips, whether it's a sunset cruise in Islamorada or a lionfish hunting expedition in the Florida Keys.
Billy Moscatello, Spearfishing Guide
Billy Moscatello was quite literally born on the water, with his first steps on his father's Hatteras "Iron Will." Raised in Florida, Billy's deep passion for fishing and diving makes him an exceptional spearfishing guide.
While he is currently studying business at the University of Tampa, he ensures his youthful energy and love for the marine world is felt on every charter trip.

Mason is Forever Young's head guide in Key West, Florida! Originally from Hilton head island, South Carolina. Mason grew up inshore/offshore fishing, free-diving, surfing, and exploring remote islands. His true passion is spearfishing deeper wrecks where you never know what incredible species you'll run into. He has been apart of multiple conservation groups, from oyster bed reconstruction to reef clean up programs. Mason holds his Divemaster certification, First Aid and CPR, with years of experience on the water. Can't say enough great things about Tony (owner) and Forever Young Charter. We did a half day, free dive spearfishing trip and Tony took us to some great spots, provided great instruction and is one heck of an easy guy to get along with. Along with the spearfishing instruction, he had a lot of facts about the Keys and surrounding areas as well as the wildlife. I highly recommend booking with Forever Young and they'll be my only choice when visiting the Keys.

This was the best charter my wife and I have ever taken. Luke and Dave were terrific. I highly recommend Forever Young. Whether you are a beginner or experienced they will make you feel welcomed and create an experience that you won’t forget. I dove two days before our charter and developed fluid in my middle ear. I called them and talked to Luke and they were fully prepared to turn our spearfishing trip into a fishing trip should I not be able to equalize on the first dive. They had the poles, chum, gear and bait ready. Fortunately I had no problem with my ear and we got all our dives in. The water was murky from a heat related algae bloom but I still managed to get a nice hogfish and a couple lion fish and my wife was thrilled to get three lion fish in her first spearfishing attempt. The guys were great, flexible, professional and friendly. It was an excellent day and a memory that we will always have. We will be back.
