Tony Young, Owner and Captain

Tony Young leads Forever Young Charter Company and stays directly involved in daily operations as a captain and spearfishing guide. With a degree in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Minnesota, he brings a strong background in coral reef ecology and marine conservation. Tony is a licensed captain and certified technical diver who focuses on running charters that are both productive and responsible. His experience includes work with organizations like the Georgia Aquarium and the Coral Restoration Foundation, along with time spent diving and working with operations across the country. His approach keeps each trip efficient, hands-on, and rooted in real knowledge of the water.

Allysa Lund, First Mate

Allysa Lund brings a mix of teaching experience and a strong connection to the ocean to every trip. After moving from Minnesota, she built her life around the water while continuing her work in education. Her background working with children, including those with special needs, carries over into how she helps guide guests on the boat. She keeps things approachable and easy to understand, making both snorkeling and spearfishing trips more engaging while also reinforcing the importance of respecting marine life.

Jeff Tharp, Captain

Captain Jeff Tharp has a background in Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Human Ecology from Indiana University, with a focus on adventure-based learning. He is a PADI Master Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer, along with being a licensed USCG master captain. His experience teaching outdoor skills translates directly into how he runs charters, with a focus on clear communication, safety, and helping guests feel comfortable in the water.
