Tony Young, Owner and Captain

Tony Young, the heart and soul behind Forever Young Charter Company, isn't just the guy in charge. He's right there in the thick of it all, leading from the front as our captain and top spearfishing guide. With a solid background in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Minnesota, Tony's not only well-versed in coral reef ecology but also deeply committed to marine conservation. He's a certified technical diver and a licensed captain who's passionate about ensuring our activities, especially in the stunning waters of Key West, FL, are all about sustainable spearfishing and exploring the beauty of the Florida Keys responsibly. Tony's experience is vast, having contributed to marine conservation efforts with the Georgia Aquarium and the Coral Restoration Foundation, along with a rich history of working with dive companies across the country.

His leadership ensures that every adventure with Forever Young, whether it's spearfishing in the clear waters near Key West or exploring the vibrant underwater ecosystems of the Florida Keys, is not only thrilling but also respects the delicate balance of our marine environments.

Allysa Lund, First Mate

Allysa Lund is a key player at Forever Young, where her enthusiasm for the ocean matches her dedication to education. Swapping the cold lakes of Minnesota for the warm waters of Key West, FL, Allysa has found her second home in the Florida Keys.

When she's not teaching at a local Key West school, helping children with special needs, she's on board with us, sharing her passion for marine conservation. Allysa's unique blend of educational skills and love for the sea adds a special touch to our snorkeling and spearfishing charters, making every trip with us not just an adventure, but a learning experience about the importance of protecting our underwater world.    

Mike O'Dwyer, Captain

Mike was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida where his passion for the ocean and diving began. This passion led Mike to complete a degree in Marine Environment at The College of the Florida Keys. Upon graduation; Mike expanded his knowledge by becoming a PADI dive instructor, SSI dive instructor, Emergency First Response instructor, and a USCG 100 ton licensed captain. Mike has now lived in Key West and worked as a professional guide and captain for over 12 years. He enjoys nothing more than spearfishing, guiding divers underwater, and sharing his love for the ocean with others! Captain Mike is “Forever Young’s” Key West Branch Manager, you will see Captain Mike on every Key West charter!

David Wilkerson, Captain

David is a born and raised Georgia boy, spending his childhood in the woods hunting and on the water fishing. His passion for the ocean brought him to the Florida Keys well over a decade ago. David is a decorated captain, running some of the largest Yachts and sportfish boats around the Bahamas and South Florida. He holds multiple dive certifications, including his instructor rating and technical diving certifications. When it comes to fishing, David is the go to captain for anything offshore or in the shallow waters of the Florida Keys backcountry. David's knowledge, experience, and southern hospitality will make you feel at home when he is behind the helm!

Jeff Tharp, Captain

Captain Jeff Tharp graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Human Ecology. His degree focused on adventure education which lead Jeff to teach a variety of outdoor skills from backpacking, rock climbing, downhill skiing and snowboarding. His passion for teaching continued as he achieved the PADI Master Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer dive ratings. Jeff is also a licensed USCG master captain.

Luke Rankin, Spearfishing Guide

Luke Rankin, our spearfishing guide, grew up in Delaware, where his love for water led him to a career in diving and a life in the stunning Florida Keys. As a licensed USCG master captain, PADI Dive Instructor, and Emergency First Response Instructor, Luke's knowledge and dedication enhance our charter trips, whether it's a sunset cruise in Islamorada or a lionfish hunting expedition in the Florida Keys.

Billy Moscatello, Spearfishing Guide

Billy Moscatello was quite literally born on the water, with his first steps on his father's Hatteras "Iron Will." Raised in Florida, Billy's deep passion for fishing and diving makes him an exceptional spearfishing guide.

While he is currently studying business at the University of Tampa, he ensures his youthful energy and love for the marine world is felt on every charter trip.
